"Get to the Copter! Tired of hammering through Walls, Master Builder's next-generation flying machine lets him soar over them. The Battle Copter attacks from afar with its powerful cannons; or can get up close and personal when using its Bomb Rush ability."

  • Battle Copter is the second Hero unlocked in the Builder Base. It requires a level 8 Builder Hall and 2,500,000 Builder Elixir to construct. When constructed, the Battle Copter is built at level 15. This counts as 15 levels towards the level 5 upgrade requirement of the B.O.B Control (which requires the Battle Copter and Battle Machine to be upgraded to a combined level of 45), rather than just one.

  • The Battle Copter is a ranged flying Hero which is a helicopter with bombs on the sides that attacks from a distance using small bombs, which is controlled by the Master Builder . It is stationed atop the Battle Copter Altar when not attacking.
  • Like the Battle Machine before it, the Battle Copter does not defend the Builder Base when it is attacked.
  • The Battle Copter has an ability known as Bomb Rush . When used, the Battle Copter regenerates some health and rushes forward to its target building to throw a bomb at close range, dealing moderate area damage. This ability is improved every 5th level. The ability has three levels of charge, depending on the duration the player waits to use the ability. Higher levels of charge increase the bomb's damage and area of effect, as well as improve the health regeneration. When deployed, the Battle Copter will start with the ability charged up to level 1. It takes about 40 seconds to charge up to level 3 from the moment the ability is activated.

  • The Battle Copter's long range is an asset that enables it to snipe buildings from afar while taking minimal fire from defenses. Although it is unable to outrange most anti-air defenses, it can provide long-range support for other attacking troops, such as the Baby Dragon or Drop Ship .
  • The low damage of the Battle Copter makes it unreliable as a damage dealer, so it is recommended to pair it up with damage dealers such as Baby Dragons or Beta Minions . It can also work together with a Cannon Cart to clear out large swathes of a base with relative safety.
  • It can also be used to test traps, and has the ability to take down an area full of ground defenses.
  • The Bomb Rush ability is at odds with making best use of the Copter; although it provides health regeneration and an AOE attack, it places the Battle Copter much closer to its targets, making it much more vulnerable to enemy fire, and thus making it more likely to be defeated before it can charge up another ability use or destroy everything in its surroundings. However, there are certain use cases for the ability, making it somewhat niche: The health regeneration enables it to perform Hail Mary attacks when it is about to run out of health, though the potential of such attacks is greatly limited by the ability's charge level. At charge level 1, for example, the AOE of the bomb is so small that it is essentially a single-target attack, making it very rare to damage multiple targets at once with its very small splash radius. At charge level 3, the bomb is able to destroy relative-level Zappies that spawn from O.T.T.O's Outpost in one hit, ridding the defense of what may otherwise be a stalling force.

  • Anti-air defenses such as Air Bombs , Firecrackers , Mega Tesla or the Roaster are very effective against the Battle Copter. It is recommended to position these buildings within the Battle Copter's attack radius to ensure maximum damage. Due to the Battle Copter's high HP, however, Firecrackers and the Roaster will take quite some time to take down the Battle Copter, so having several of the aforementioned defenses in the same area is a good strategy to use against it. The X-Bow (set to air) deals relatively low DPS, but can still be used to chip away at the Battle Copter's health due to its very long range. Unlike other defenses, the X-Bow generally does not need direct engagement from the Battle Copter to be in range, and can target the Copter even while it is attacking a building in front of it.

  • Stalling the Battle Copter with high-hitpoint buildings such as Gold Storages can prove effective in draining attackers' time if they plan to use the Battle Copter for picking off part of the base.
  • It is recommended to have Mega Mines set to air mode placed outside the base or next to defenses once the Battle Copter is within its trigger radius. The high damage Mega Mines deal to enemies can make quick work of the Battle Copter if they are positioned next to strong anti-air defenses.
