  • The Goblin Thrower is a defense in the Clan Capital, present only in the Goblin Mines district.
  • Goblin Throwers launch barrels of Spear Goblins at ground enemies. These barrels do small amounts of splash damage on impact and release Spear Goblins which act as defending troops. Each barrel contains three Spear Goblins.
  • Goblin Throwers have a total of five barrels to launch across a single raid; once it has expended all of its barrels, it cannot act for the remainder of the raid. The number of barrels it can launch is shown by the number of barrels placed on the ground adjacent to it.
  • If a Goblin Thrower is destroyed while it still has barrels to launch, all of the remaining barrels will break apart and release their Spear Goblins.
  • While the Goblin Thrower Itself deals little to no damage, the Spear Goblins will do massive damage if left unattended as defense-targeting troops will get their health chipped gradually while other troops will get distracted by the Spear Goblins, thus giving time for defenses to deal damage.
  • It is advisable to put it behind walls to protect it because of its long range and ability to distract troops.
  • Another good placement is to put it where the Max Range is beside a wall, which the Spear Goblins will stay behind the walls, and hit troops over the wall.
  • Because it will only fire five shots before it runs out of ammunition per clan per raid weekend, it is advisable to either use it as a frontliner for the goblins to spawn, as a distraction, or put it at a hard-to-reach place, to force opponents to use another attack.
  • The impact damage of the Goblin Thrower is enough to one-shot Skeletons at any level, so you can use it to counter the spawned skeletons from a Skeleton Barrel , and combined with the Spear Goblins, they can finish off Barbarians and other small troops.

  • Lightning Spells will counter the Spear Goblins spawned as they get one-shotted by the spell at same level.
  • Ground Skeletons spawned by the Graveyard Spell will take a toll from this, as their shields will be broken from this damage, hindering attacks.
  • Use support troops such as the Super Wizard to clear the Spear Goblins, especially behind defense-targeting troops.
  • The Goblin Thrower gains significant visual changes at levels 1 and 3. Initially, when in a ruined state, the Goblin Thrower appears to have a slingshot located at the front, and the building resembles a crossbow, but covered with lots of leaves. When rebuilt, the Goblin Thrower appears as a large, ballista-like slingshot with ropes holding the frame which is made out of ivory tusks, held by a stone and wood base underneath. Its barrels are made of wood and held by ropes. At level 2, the Goblin Thrower gains metal tips at the top and reinforcements at the bottom part of the frame. Spears are added at the back of the building. The barrels it throws stay the same. At level 3, the wood at the sides of the Goblin Thrower is now painted red and white in a stripe pattern at a vertical position. The ropes of the barrels are replaced with metal reinforcements. At level 4, the metal tips of the Goblin Thrower turn golden. Its barrels stay the same as the previous level.

  • The Goblin Thrower combines both the Goblin Hut and Goblin Barrel 's abilities from Clash Royale, with it being a building that summons Spear Goblins, but does so by launching barrels with little to no splash damage that contains three units inside.
