  • Log Traps are a trap available in the Clan Capital, available at Capital Hall level 4. When a ground unit moves in front of it, it unleashes a log that deals damage to all ground units in its path, and knocks back smaller troops by 1 tile, and larger troops by 0.5 tiles. The Mountain Golem is not immune to knockback, and it will be knocked back 0.5 tiles, but can reset his attack animation. The same thing can also apply to the Mega Sparky, in which case it will reset her attack animation.

  • The Log Trap can be rotated by angles of 90 degrees. This changesits trigger area depending on the direction it faces.
  • Log Traps deal damage in a rather small, but long path, so you should place them at choke points where it is more likely that a whole group of troops walks in front of it. A notable example is the bridge at the southeast part of the Wizard Valley district .
  • They do not deal high damage on their own, but are still useful to destroy Super Wizards or take out a whole group of Sneaky Archers behind tanks as they have low health as the Log Trap cruises through the whole path, no matter what.
  • You can also place them where there is likely funneling points, to catch troops off-guard, forcing the attacker to waste more resources to funnel.
  • Log Traps can be used to push back Battle Rams for a short distance, so that the defenses will have little more time to destroy them before they reach their desired target.
  • This trap can be used to reset the attacking animations of troops, especially the Mountain Golem and the Mega Sparky due to their slow attacking speed, and the slight knockback can help it to change targets, thus slowing down an attack.

  • Log Traps may have to travel a medium to long distance before colliding with your troops. If you suspect a location to contain a Log Trap, deploy your troops further back from that location if possible as they may move out of its path.
  • You can also use a tank to trigger it, and then deploy the damage troops.
  • When initially built, the Log Trap consists of a wooden log with metal spikes around it on top of a wooden ramp on a thin wooden base. At level 2, the edges of the base are reinforced with stone and the ramp is also reinforced with what appears to be metal. At level 3, the log partially receives spiked metal armor fittings over it. The original spikes are adjusted to accommodate the fittings. At level 4, the log's wood gets a darker color and the spikes get thicker. The base gets a fully reinforced covering of stones. At level 5, the log gets 2 additional large spikes at its ends and the log's spikes and armor appear to be coated in red-hot fire, thereby becoming a flaming log. The ramp also receives the dark wood color that the log had received in the previous level, and all of the metal parts turn golden in color, with an orange tint, except its ramp.
