  • In both versions of the event, players can acquire Ice Cubes and Super Medals as temporary resources. Ice Cubes are used to progress a rewards track similar to Season Challenges , while Super Medals can be used at the Trader to purchase exclusive rewards.
  • The normal Super Troop Spotlight event is available for all players with Town Hall 8 or above. The first Mini Spotlight was available for all players at Town Hall 10 and above, while the second Mini Spotlight was available to all players with Town Hall 7 and above.
  • Once the main event has ended, the following occur: Ice Cubes will no longer be available to collect; The boost on the Super Troop will expire.

  • For two days after the end date of the event, the following apply: The Trader's Super Medals offers remain available. The rewards track remains open and accumulated rewards can still be claimed. Although it is no longer possible to collect Ice Cubes to advance the track normally, Gems can still be used to complete reward tiers. Any claimed boosts remain in effect.

  • After these above end, any unused Super Medals will be converted into Gold.
  • During the event, the highlighted Super Troop will be freely available to use. The boost corresponding to the highlighted Super Troop is claimable as the first reward in the rewards track (see below). When this reward is claimed, the Super Troop will be available to use for the duration of the event. In events before the May 2025 Mini Spotlight (when training time still existed), the training time for that Super Troop was also halved. While the event is ongoing, normal boosts for the Super Troop cannot be done, and this claimed boost cannot be canceled. This allows said Super Troop to be available below Town Hall 11.
  • While the event is ongoing, normal boosts for the Super Troop cannot be done, and this claimed boost cannot be canceled.
  • This allows said Super Troop to be available below Town Hall 11.
  • The level of the Super Troop obtained from this boost is equal to the maximum level of the corresponding regular troop available for the player's Town Hall level. For example, in the Super Dragon Spotlight, Town Hall 13 players would acquire level 8 Super Dragons , corresponding to the level 8 Dragon which is the highest available for their level. Additional levels of Super Troops below the normal minimum level also exist for lower level players, so they can also use the Super Troops, which are kept until they are used.
  • The requirement on donating Super Troops remains unchanged from its normal circumstances: players must be able to boost the Super Troop under normal circumstances in order to donate them. Consequently, this means players at Town Hall 9 or below cannot donate Super Troops, and Town Hall 10-12 players may also be unable to donate them depending on the showcased Super Troop. For example, Super Dragons unlock at Town Hall 12, so Town Hall 11 and below are prevented from donating them.

  • For players with Town Hall 11 or above, once the Super Troop has been boosted, two other Super Troops can be boosted in the Super Sauna , for a total of three at once. Thus, the free Super Troop boost may be considered to not take up a Super Troop slot for the duration of the event.
  • When the event starts, the Super Ice Bath will be present in the player's Home Village. It produces Ice Cubes at a slow rate. The Super Ice Bath is placed outside the boundaries of the village, in the clearing where the Clan Games cart usually spawns.
  • Ice Cubes can be won in Multiplayer Battles . In every battle, Ice Cubes can be won by scoring Stars. In the normal Super Troop Spotlight events, each Star is worth a fixed amount (150 per Star outside of Legend League at base). This amount can increase as the event progresses: During the Super Dragon Spotlight, the Ice Cube reward per Star was increased to 200 on 16th March 2024. During the Rocket Balloon Spotlight, the Ice Cube reward per Star was increased to 200 on 16th April, then further increased to 250 on 18th April 2024. In the Mini Spotlight, the distribution of Ice Cubes for each Star earned was changed. Ice Cubes are distributed in a ratio of 16:3:1 (i.e. 80%/15%/5%) for the first through third stars.

  • If at least one of the highlighted Super Troop was deployed in the battle (whether as part of the main army or as a Clan Castle reinforcement), then the Ice Cubes won in the battle is increased by 50% (in a normal Super Troop Spotlight) or 20% (for the Mini Spotlight).
  • Ice Cubes cannot be lost once accumulated; any Ice Cubes that opponents manage to loot off the player will be newly generated by the game.
  • Loot penalty from attacking players with a lower Town Hall level will not apply to Ice Cubes.
  • Ice Cubes can be accumulated to progress a special rewards track exclusive to the event. These rewards comprise mostly of Ores and Super Medals, with a few reward tiers unlocking temporary army units, providing training boosts or unlocking exclusive decorations. The Mini Spotlight, being more casual-oriented, has a shorter rewards track comprising of Resources instead of Ores, and no decorations.

  • For normal Super Troop Spotlight events, an Event Pass is purchasable for $4.99 USD (or equivalent). The Event Pass provides access to a paid tier of additional rewards. For the Mini Spotlight, a smaller "Mini Event Pass" is purchasable for $2.99 USD (or equivalent), conferring analogous benefits.
  • Completing the main rewards track unlocks access to a bonus track, which grants additional Super Medals upon completion, though only to a limited extent.
  • Players can spend 90 Gems to immediately unlock the next rewards tier, whether or not they have the Event Pass (or Mini Event Pass). Gems cannot be used on the bonus track.
  • The below table is a list of rewards. Note that the rewards track is nearly identical between all three runnings of the normal Super Troop Spotlight, so they are condensed into the same table.
  • For the Mini Spotlights in March 2025 onwards, resource rewards scale by Town Hall level. The rewards shown in that table apply for players with Town Hall level 13 and above; players below this Town Hall level will receive lower amounts.
  • Super Medals can be earned by completing the rewards track, which is done by accumulating Ice Cubes. In normal Super Troop Spotlight events, 3,100 Super Medals can be won from the free tier of the rewards track, and another 5,000 is winnable from the paid tier. More can be earned from the bonus track: in the Super Dragon Spotlight, 1,170 was available in this track, whereas in the Rocket Balloon Spotlight and Super Wall Breaker Spotlight, this number was 650. In the Mini Spotlight event, 550 Super Medals can be won from the free tier of the rewards track, and another 1,900 in the paid tier. An additional 390 could be won from the bonus track.

  • Additional Super Medals could be purchased via In-App Purchases in the Shop; some offers contained only Super Medals while others are bundled with other content.
  • Super Medals could be used to purchase special offers from the Trader . The Trader's table is split into multiple tables here: a table for "common" rewards which are available across all normal Super Troop Spotlight events, one table for the rewards exclusive to each individual event, and one table for the rewards exclusive to the Mini Spotlight event.
  • The May 2025 event is the first to showcase a new Super Troop (not counting its accidental addition before its temporary removal).
