  • The Inferno Dragon is a troop in the Clan Capital , unlocked when the Inferno Dragon Barracks is constructed (this is done automatically upon unlocking the Skeleton Park district, requiring Capital Hall level 8).
  • The Inferno Dragon is a troop that attacks with a single inferno beam that builds up damage over time, much like the single-target Inferno Tower .
  • Inferno Dragons have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building . However, if they become aware of enemy defending troops stationed in defense posts (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), and can fight back against them, they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Inferno Dragons will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
  • The Inferno Dragon's high damage capability makes him ideal for wearing down buildings with very high hitpoints. In particular, the Capital Hall can be brought down quickly through their use, especially when a Rage Spell is used. At relative level, the Inferno Dragon can even survive a single shot from the Capital Hall, provided he has not taken any damage.
  • The Inferno Dragon can prove to be an effective Super Dragon killer when facing districts with Super Dragon Posts , since he is able to (at relative level) survive one full burst of fire from the Super Dragon. If the Super Dragon is distracted beforehand, the Inferno Dragon can easily reach maximum damage and gain the upper hand when the two troops fight. The Super Dragon may move away from the Inferno Dragon if distracted, which may cause the inferno beam to break and the Inferno Dragon's damage to reset. Having the distraction directly attack the Super Dragon while visible or attacking another building (including the guard post itself) can prevent this from happening.

  • To get him to lock onto ideal targets, one should preferably clear out any buildings that the Inferno Dragon might target before sending them in to attack. To extend their survivability, one can distract nearby defenses with Rocket Balloons or other troops.

  • Because the Inferno Dragon has massive value against the Capital Hall, one should never leave the Capital Hall undefended against air attacks. Air Defenses and Air Bombs have good aerial coverage; even Spear Throwers covering the Capital Hall or a single Mine set to air can do enough damage to allow the Capital Hall to one-shot the Inferno Dragon. Since the Inferno Dragon is more likely to be covered by other troops, however, the more specialised anti-air defenses are more ideal to deal with distractions quickly. Inferno Towers can prove to be adequate counters as well, due to the tower's similarly high damage per second even in its initial state. Most troops and squads are unable to defeat the Inferno Tower on their own, and Inferno Dragons are no exception.

  • The Inferno Dragon resemble dragons from European cultures . being reptilian legendary creatures, often depicted as winged, horned, and capable of breathing fire. The Inferno Dragon is slower than the Baby Dragon , despite being of the same breed. This may possibly be because he carries extra equipment and wears a helmet.
