- Lavaloon Pups are swift, fragile air units, deployed by the Lavaloon during attacks and upon its destruction. They are essentially turquoise Lava Pups , exhibiting the same behavior.
- The Lavaloon Pup's level depends on the Lavaloon's level, unlike Lava Pups which only have a single level. There are two versions of Lavaloons: a temporary version which is determined by the Town Hall level, and a weaker permanent version spawned by the Lavaloon Puppet . Both versions spawn Lavaloon Pups equal to their level; the Lavaloon Pups themselves are identical in both versions.
- Lavaloon Pups have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building . However, if they become aware of enemy Clan Castle troops , Heroes , or Skeleton Trap skeletons (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), and can fight back against them, they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Lavaloon Pups will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
- As a sub-troop, it cannot be trained, placed, or donated directly via the Clan Castle .
- The Lavaloon Pup occupies 2 housing spaces, affecting its interactions with the Tornado Trap, Clone Spell, and Recall Spell.
- It cannot trigger Seeking Air Mines , but can trigger Air Bombs .
- In its artwork, the Lavaloon Pup's appearance is exactly the same to that of the Lava Pup 's, except recolored in green.
