The Skeleton is a subtroop spawned by Skeleton Barrels , Graveyard Spell , Flying Fortresses and their spawned Skeleton Gliders .
Skeletons are single-target melee troops with low damage and hitpoints, which use their numbers to overcome their weaknesses. Their stats are not upgraded if the parent troops are upgraded; instead these parent troops spawn more Skeletons.
Unlike Skeletons in the Home Village and Builder Base, Skeletons in the Clan Capital are capable of triggering Traps .
Skeletons have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building . However, if they become aware of enemy defending troops stationed in defense posts (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), and can fight back against them, they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Skeletons will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
Great amount of Skeletons can be spawned by multiple sources, without any splash damage, it can quickly distract and overwhelm single-target and/or slow firing rate defenses.
