  • The Super Miner is a troop in the Clan Capital , unlocked when the Super Miner Barracks is constructed (this requires unlocking the Goblin Mines district, requiring Capital Hall level 9).
  • The Super Miner is a troop that burrows underground to reach his target; he can bypass any Terrain (including water and cliffs) in doing so. His drill will increase in damage per second the longer he focuses on a target.
  • The Super Miner also carries an explosive bomb which damages all ground units in an area once he is destroyed.
  • Super Miners have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building . However, if they become aware of enemy defending troops stationed in defense posts (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), and can fight back against them, they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Super Miners will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
  • The Super Miner is effective in taking down a group of condensed buildings, because of high damage and health from defenses. Like its Home Village counterpart, he leaves an explosive bomb, being able to one-shot most defenses and severely damage higher-end ones.
  • He can also be used as a mini-tank for other troops to come through because of its burrowing ability or can destroy key defenses such as Inferno Towers and Blast Bows .
  • He can also go under cliffs and even water, which is useful for districts like Wizard Valley or Dragon Cliffs where other ground troops may be disadvantaged against defenses behind either of these. It is not advised to be used as a tank, because his burrowing removes such ability.

  • Super Miners work best in large groups - a large pack can quickly destroy most buildings and burrow before most defenses can even react. Frost Spells can be used to slow defenses further, while Healing Spells are useful if the Super Miner group is expected to take large amounts of area damage (e.g. against a Capital Hall or several Bomb Towers ).

  • Because Super Miners target anything, put Houses to distract Super Miners and add damage to it. Super Giant Posts and Raid Cart Posts are effective in distracting the Super Miner and give time for defenses to deal as much damage to them as possible. Spear Goblins also work, but a lot is needed.
  • To defend Super Miners effectively, forcing them to stay surfaced for longer is essential. Having defenses crowded around high-hitpoint buildings such as a District Hall is one way to maximise the damage potential against them; another more effective method is to force the Super Miners to spread out into several groups, which is most easily accomplished by grouping buildings tightly. This latter method works because of variance in Super Miners' attack positions when they all target a single building; with tight grouping, it is more likely that the Super Miners will split up to select different targets.

  • Unlike his Home Village counterpart, he requires 25 housing space, rather than 24. He also moves at a speed of 24, which is slower than the Home Village version's 36. The damage is the same for the base level, but as he levels up, he deals more damage than his Home Village version.
