  • The Crusher is a defensive building in the Clan Capital, unlocked at Capital Hall level 4. Every few seconds, the Crusher slams down, doing heavy damage to all ground units in its radius.
  • Like the Crusher from the Builder Base, its short range is a shortcoming, allowing ranged troops to attack without retaliation. The Crusher is also unable to attack air units in any capacity.
  • Keeping the Crusher centered in the district helps protect it from ranged troops.
  • Like with Crushers from the Builder Base, the Crusher is excellent at guarding choke points, whether it be natural (via the district terrain) or artificially made by Walls . However, its lack of range means it should be guarded by other defenses to avoid it being destroyed easily by Sneaky Archers or other ranged units.
  • You can put a Super Giant Post or a Raid Cart Post near a Crusher so the post will lure your opponent's troops into the Crusher.
  • Protect short-ranged defenses such as the Multi Cannon and the Hidden Mega Tesla behind the Crusher, as ground troops will have to go through the Crusher to destroy them.
  • Try to avoid putting Crushers by Walls as they cannot crush troops over them, allotting the ranged units more time to destroy the Crusher.
  • Try to put Crushers near your Air Defenses and Air Bombs to protect them from the Skeletons of the Flying Fortress . Without ample support, Flying Fortresses will have a tough time taking the Crusher out and thus be stalled, giving your Air Defenses and Air Bombs ample time to take it out.
  • It is advisable to put Crushers next to other defenses as the other defenses can direct ground troops and give Crushers time to attack.

  • It is advisable to put Crushers next to other defenses as the other defenses can direct ground troops and give Crushers time to attack.
  • Super Giants can destroy a Crusher if there are enough Giants at once, but only if the Crusher is far outside or if there are no nearby defenses.
  • Use air troops to take down the Crusher if using a swarm attack. This is only for unprotected Crushers—watch out for Air Defenses , Air Bombs , and troops from Defensive Post buildings!
  • To avoid funneling deficiencies, as explained above, use Battle Rams to destroy Walls and create another opening into a base away from the Crusher.
  • The Super P.E.K.K.A can take out the Crusher before it does massive damage to units, especially with the ability, Overcharge. However, with the help of other defenses, the Super P.E.K.K.A will likely be at low hit points or taken out by the Crusher.
  • It cannot attack or even harm the Mountain Golem because it can technically outrange the crusher on hitboxes. so use the Mountain Golem to take it out.
  • You can take advantage of the Crusher's long cooldown time between slams by baiting it with a few Super Barbarians then swarming it with more of them to take it down before it has a chance to crush the rest of the Super Barbarians again. However, this technique requires precise timing and can ruin your attack if not executed correctly. If the Crusher's stone falls but the shockwave does not appear and the sound bite does not play, this indicates that the Crusher's attack was canceled at the last moment, usually because the troops underneath it are defeated. Since the Crusher technically never attacked, it can attack sooner than expected - such an occurrence can inevitably mess up attacks.

  • Crushers undergo significant visual changes at all levels. When initially rebuilt, the Crusher is a cubical mossy stone attached to a large screw emerging from a hole in the ground. Around the hole is a patch of grassless dirt with two bones inside. At level 2, the stone becomes larger. A series of ropes gets wrapped around the stone, the bolt becomes hexagonal, and the moss disappears. An incomplete stone brick perimeter surrounds the grassless area. There appears to be a skull on the bottom left. At level 3, the bolt at the top of the stone becomes gold and its hole receives a golden fitting. The ropes are replaced with two horizontal metal bands. At level 4, the stone brick perimeter is reconstructed to a finer look, the skull gets moved to the lower right side, and a sword is added where the skull was placed. The Crusher receives a riveted metal plating at its vertices including a large golden metal band riveted along the center to replace the two previous metal bands. At level 5, the Crusher receives a square-shaped golden bolt and a larger golden fitting. The metal platings along the vertices are replaced with gold and some added golden spikes. Also, the stone of the Crusher seems to be darker in color.
