- A new TH 9 with two level 4 Dark Barracks still requires 4 Witches for the Witch Event, and is therefore locked outside of the reward without using Gems or Magic Items to upgrade the Dark Barracks to level 5. If the Town Hall upgrade did not finish during the event, the event could possibly have been cleared at Town Hall 8 by using two Witches as Clan Castle troops.

- During the Star Bonus events, the Star Bonuses are multiplied by a factor. If a Star Bonus Event lasts for n days, players are able to get a maximum of n +1 increased Star Bonuses during this event, probably having to waste some "Star Bonus Time", but still beneficial to do so.
- During these events, players get Win Bonuses through Versus Battles every 8 hours instead of every 22 hours, and in some events, the amount of resources were increased as well.
- From Town Hall 12 on, before the release of a new Town Hall level, these events help players progress faster. Before the release of Town Hall 12, a "Hammer Jam" event reduced all build times (in both villages) by 50%. Before the release of Town Hall 13, a "Winter Jam" event reduced all buildings and walls' build and upgrade costs (in the Home Village only) by 50%. Before the release of Town Hall 14, another "Hammer Jam" event occurred, reducing all upgrade costs in the Home Village by 50%. However, as Town Hall 14 released in the month of April, it didn't receive the "Winter Jam" name despite being the exact same event. A "Hammer Jam" event occurred prior to the release of Town Hall 15 in October 2022. A "Hammer Jam" event occurred prior to the release of Town Hall 16 in late November 2023 and early December 2023. This affected only building and trap costs, and did not affect Hero upgrade costs. A "Hammer Jam" event occurred prior to the release of Town Hall 17 in November 2024. This affected all building, trap and hero costs and times, and the collectors’ capacity and production was increased by 3x.

- A "Hammer Jam" event occurred prior to the release of Town Hall 16 in late November 2023 and early December 2023. This affected only building and trap costs, and did not affect Hero upgrade costs.
- A "Hammer Jam" event occurred prior to the release of Town Hall 17 in November 2024. This affected all building, trap and hero costs and times, and the collectors’ capacity and production was increased by 3x.
- In July-August 2025, a new time-reduction event called Summer Jam was introduced. This Summer Jam consists of bootcamps, with each bootcamp offering unique resource boosts and timer discounts. These benefits include a 2x boost to production speed and collector capacity, and a 25% discount on upgrade times. These discounts do not apply to Walls and temporary upgrades. From July 3-13, a Gold Bootcamp occurred, affecting only Gold Mine production and upgrades requiring gold. From July 13-22, an Elixir Bootcamp occurred, affecting only Elixir Collector production and upgrades requiring elixir. From July 22-August 1, a Dark Elixir Bootcamp occurred, affecting only Dark Elixir Drill production and upgrades requiring dark elixir. From August 1-8, an "Everything Bootcamp" occurred, affecting all production and upgrades.
- From July 3-13, a Gold Bootcamp occurred, affecting only Gold Mine production and upgrades requiring gold.
- From July 13-22, an Elixir Bootcamp occurred, affecting only Elixir Collector production and upgrades requiring elixir.
- From July 22-August 1, a Dark Elixir Bootcamp occurred, affecting only Dark Elixir Drill production and upgrades requiring dark elixir.
- From August 1-8, an "Everything Bootcamp" occurred, affecting all production and upgrades.
- Achieve certain goals that were later added as tasks in Clan Games and Season Challenges . Some examples include knocking out enemy Heroes, destroying Town Halls , or achieving stars or destruction in either village.
- Occasionally, temporary troops, spells or traps were made available (usually to coincide with the Halloween or Christmas period, or Clash of Clans' anniversary in August). See the template below for Temporary Contents.
- It was the second of the 2017 Clashiversary events. This event, while adding no new content by itself, temporarily changed the mechanics of the Builder's Hut to spawn a level 1 Giant whenever it was destroyed.
- A few events modify the Army Camps and cause them to spawn a temporary troop when they are destroyed.
- Troops spawned in this way can fight for or against the attacker. Their level scales with the defender's Town Hall level.
- The first of these was the Friend or Foe medal event, which changes Army Camps to red or blue rings modeled after WWE wrestling rings. Blue rings released either Giant Giant or K.A.N.E as friendly troops, while red rings released either YEETer or The Disarmer as enemy troops. The troop released is visible in the center of the Army Camp.

Here, Army Camps are changed to either Good Piñatas or Bad Piñatas, which release friendly or enemy troops respectively. The troop released is indicated by a sign placed outside the Piñata. During the first batch of temporary troops in August 1-10, 2025, three Army Camps are replaced by Bad Piñatas. These contained a Party Wizard , Ice Wizard , and Broom Witch . Another batch of temporary troops started on August 20, 2025, and replaced three Army Camps by one Bad Piñata and two Good Piñatas. The Good Piñatas contained C.O.O.K.I.E and Royal Ghost , while the Bad Piñata contained Firecracker .

- Clan War Leagues are a type of event introduced in the October 2018 update. Eight Clans compete in a group for Clan League Medals.
- Clans can participate in Raid Weekends in the Clan Capital starting from the May 2022 update. These provide Capital Gold for Clan Capital progression, as well as Raid Medals that can be used in the Trader .
- Gold Rush first appeared in April 2025. In this event, players in a Clan collaborate to contribute Gold Nuggets (a resource earned in parallel with Gold) to win rewards for the Clan.
- Hero Rush first appeared in August 2025. In this event, players in a Clan collaborate to contribute Pop Elixir (a resource earned in parallel with Dark Elixir) to win rewards for the Clan.
- During the event, enemy Heroes in Multiplayer Battles offer additional Dark Elixir, granting more opportunity to gain Dark Elixir. The Dark Elixir Storage and Dark Elixir Drill also get visual changes where they appear to hold Pop Elixir instead of Dark Elixir.
- The Mashup Madness event took place in October 2023. During the event, Sour Elixir could be collected as a resource to progress its rewards track, unlock temporary troops based on combinations of existing troops, and accrue Mashup Medals used to trade for exclusive rewards.

- The Dragon Festival event occurred in February 2024. During the event, Red Envelopes could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary Lunar New Year-themed units, and accrue Dragon Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- The Super Troop Spotlight event promotes a Super Troop . During the event, the promoted Super Troop is available to use for free (including at levels below Town Hall 11), for the entire duration of the event. Ice Cubes can be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, and Super Medals can be earned to trade for exclusive rewards.
- Some Super Troop Spotlight events are smaller-scale events known as "Mini Spotlights", which function similarly but have a different rewards track, utilise Mini Event Passes (separate from standard Event Passes) and are more focused on improving progression.
- The Clash with Haaland event occurred in May 2024. During the event, Footballs could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary football-themed units, and accrue Golden Boot Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- The Anime Clash event occurred in August 2024. During the event, Magical Crystals could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary anime-themed units, and accrue Magic Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- The Mashup Mania event occurred in October 2024. During the event, Sour Elixir could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary Clashoween-themed units, and accrue Mashup Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- The Toyshop Throwdown event occurred in December 2024. During the event, Cogs could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary Clashmas-themed units, and accrue Toy Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- The Snake Festival event occurred in February 2025. During the event, Red Lanterns could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary Lunar New Year-themed units, and accrue Snake Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- The Friend or Foe event occurred in April 2025. During the event, Event Tickets could be collected as a resource to progress a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary WWE-themed units, and accrue Champ Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.
- During the event, Army Camps each contained one of four temporary WWE units that were released when the camp is destroyed. Depending on the camp, these units could either assist in the attack or defense of the village.
- The Dark Deal event occurred in June 2025. During the event, Goblin Cash could be collected as a resource to advance on a special rewards track akin to Season Challenges, unlock temporary units, and accrue Mischief Medals to trade for exclusive rewards.

The teams also competed against each other to loot more Gold, with various content creators representing each side; the team that looted more Gold (which in the end was Team Trees) had its content creators giveaway special merchandise. - This community goal took place during the Dragon Festival medal event. Players were offered a reward of 200 Dragon Medals, claimable through a link, if they were able to collectively earn 666 billion Red Envelopes. [ 2 ]
- Ultimately only 518 billion Red Envelopes were collectively earned, but a link for 165 Dragon Medals was nonetheless shared as a partial reward. [ 3 ]
- This community goal took place between March 21 and March 28, 2024. tasked the playerbase with destroying Town Halls . Players were offered an increased Star Bonus event, with its magnitude determined by the milestone reached. [ 4 ] Additional Ores were also rewarded if the final milestone was reached.
- The list of milestones and rewards are detailed in the below table. Any event rewards were enabled from March 29 to April 1, 2024.
- This community goal took place between May 23 and May 31, 2024. It tasked the playerbase with achieving destruction in Multiplayer Battles . Players were offered increased Star Bonus events and various rewards, depending on the milestone reached. [ 5 ]

- This community goal lasted from June 24 to June 30, 2024. It tasked the playerbase with looting Dark Elixir . Players were offered the "Unlimited Heroes" event for doing so, with the milestone reached determining the duration. [ 6 ]
- After the final milestone was achieved in only a few hours, it was confirmed that the milestones were off by a factor of 10, but the results of the event were allowed to stand. [ 7 ]
- The list of milestones and rewards are detailed in the below table. If the event was activated (as happened), then it started on July 1, 2024.
- The main objective of this community goal is for players to collect as many points as they can to receive community rewards.
- This challenge is divided into two phases, with the first taking place from July 24th to August 1st, 2025, and the second from August 1st to August 6th, 2025.
- To contribute to the progress, each player needs to complete the following: clear Home Village obstacles, start Dark Elixir upgrades, collect Dark Elixir, and collect Store Points during the first phase; and clear Home Village obstacles, start any upgrade, collect any resources, and collect Store Points during the second phase.
- There are four types of rewards that can be collected after reaching each milestone. Rewards for the first and second milestones will become available at 08:00 UTC the day after they are unlocked and will remain claimable for 5 days. Rewards for the third and fourth milestones will be distributed after the event concludes and will remain claimable for 5 days.

- During the Work for Hire! event, players can use Gems to recruit Goblins to act as extra Builders or Laboratory researchers in the Home Village.

- After players log in for the first time after 90 days of inactivity, players will trigger a special sequence of events which eases them back into playing the game.
- This includes automatic upgrading of their village, as well as various bonuses to re-start the game, including a Daily Login Calendar that gives them free Magic Items every day for a week upon their logging in, as well as a special challenge track that temporarily replaces the Season Challenges track.
- The Streak Event started in April 2024. During the event, players complete daily challenges to progress a rewards track and boost the amount won from League bonuses .

- During the Unlimited Heroes event, players' Heroes in the Home Village were usable for both attack and defense while they were upgrading (their use is still subject to their own regeneration times). Its duration was set by the Unlimited Heroes community event, to last the entirety of July 2024.
