- The Firecracker is a temporary troop introduced during the Dragon Festival event, along with the Azure Dragon . She is unlocked after collecting 1,000 . She returned in the Snake Festival event for Lunar New Year 2025, where she can be unlocked with 1,000 .
- The Firecracker is an Archer who wears a red headband and tunic, a black hood, gloves and boots, and wields a wooden rocket launcher shooting firecrackers, rather than a bow and arrows. When she fires, her shots deal splash damage in a cone-shaped area behind her target. The power of her shots creates recoil that pushes her backwards by about 1 tile every time she fires. The splash damage has falloff properties similar to the Scattershot ; it does less damage to a target the further away it is from the initial target. The splash damage is capable of damaging targets up to 5 tiles away from the initial target.

- The Firecracker can target ground and air. She cannot hit both ground and air troops at once, but the splash damage is capable of damaging buildings regardless of whether she targets ground or air with a particular shot.
- Firecrackers have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building . However, if they become aware of enemy Clan Castle troops , Heroes , or Skeleton Trap skeletons (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), and can fight back against them, they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Firecrackers will proceed to attack the nearest structure.

- Defending Clan Castle troops can be surprisingly good against Firecrackers. If they are moving towards a Firecracker that is directly targeting them, her shots can potentially miss since the defending troops will be in front of where the Firecracker's shot will land. However, even if the Firecracker misses her intended target, the splash can still harm troops behind said target.
- Long range defenses can get to a Firecracker if she is exposed, though it is likely that attackers will use tanking troops to absorb fire from defenses when using her. Particularly effective are ground-mode X-Bows ; Firecrackers cannot damage them without putting themselves in range of one.
- At higher levels, defenses that are capable of bypassing tank troops, such as multi-targeting Inferno Towers and Scattershots , are generally more effective at dealing with Firecrackers.
- Hidden Teslas or ground traps such as a Giant Bomb placed on top of common sniping spots can be used to get quick damage on and eliminate Firecrackers quickly.

- You could have a maximum of 34 Firecrackers at one time in a complete set of fully upgraded Army Camps . On the battlefield, you could clone an additional 16 Firecrackers with four fully upgraded Clone Spells (three from the regular spell inventory and one from a level 10 or higher Clan Castle). These total to a maximum of 50 Firecrackers.
- It is possible for a defense to briefly shoot outside its range if a Firecracker attacks and recoils out of its range as the defense attacks. For defenses whose projectiles home onto the target, such as a Cannon , their attacks can still hit the Firecracker. However, in the case of defenses with blind spots such as the Mortar or Scattershot, once they go out of the blind spot, the defense will then attack the Firecracker, though for the latter, she will get taken in 1 to 2 hits depending on the proximity.
- So far, the Firecracker is the only troop to have an attack similar to that of a Scattershot, with a cone radius and piercing trait.
