  • The Ice Minion is a temporary troop introduced in the Mashup Mania event for Clash-o-Ween 2024. It can be unlocked after accumulating 1,000 Sour Elixir in the event.
  • The Ice Minion appears similar to the regular Minion , except it is enlarged, its skin and wings are entirely white, and its gloves and horns are made up of blue ice. It also wears a dark-colored mask with blue eyes.
  • The Ice Minion combines aspects of both the Minion and Ice Golem . Like the Minion, it is a flying troop with moderately low hitpoints which takes up low housing space. On the other hand, like an Ice Golem, it targets defenses, inflicting slowdown effects with its attacks, and freezes the surrounding area when defeated.
  • The Ice Minion attacks by spitting icy balls which slow down whatever they attack, reducing affected Defensive Buildings or units' fire rate by 50% for 2 seconds. Upon death, the Ice Minion freezes everything in a small radius, completely immobilizing any defenses and enemy units caught within for a short duration. However, the upon death freeze does not deal any damage. The Ice Minion's death freeze will not prevent Traps from triggering nor will it stop a triggering Trap from going off. (The Trap however, will appear as if it were being hit by the Ice Minion).

  • The Ice Minion cannot be upgraded in the Laboratory . Its level is instead determined by the player's Town Hall level.
  • Ice Minions prioritize defensive structures above all other targets, and will bypass all other types of enemy buildings and troops while any defenses remain on the battlefield. This is true even if they are under attack by enemy Clan Castle troops, Heroes or Skeleton Trap skeletons. Note that like all troops that prioritize defenses, Ice Minions do not consider the Clan Castle to be a defense regardless of whether or not it contains enemy troops, but do consider the activated Town Hall weapon (if any) to be defensive buildings. Once all defenses are destroyed, Ice Minions become like any other troop with no preferred target; they will attack the nearest building to them regardless of type, and will turn and attack enemy units if they become aware of any nearby and can fight back against them. However, they will not switch targets to enemy units until their previous target was destroyed.
  • The Ice Golem can effectively counter a single-target Inferno Tower . When the Ice Minion dies, it will freeze the defense, resetting its damage ramp-up, and allowing other troops to take the Inferno Tower out. However, make sure that the Ice Minion's death freeze affects the Inferno Tower, otherwise it will continue attacking as normal.

  • Unlike a normal Minion, the Seeking Air Mine can target Ice Minions. This makes Ice Minions more space-efficient than Balloons for checking for Seeking Air Mines. Although Ice Minions have lower hitpoints than Balloons, they can make up for this by their faster movement speed.

  • Remember to spread your major defenses close to each other, especially the Inferno Towers , Multi-Archer Towers and Monoliths , otherwise they will be frozen when the Ice Minions get destroyed, allowing other troops to destroy them.
  • You could have a maximum of 85 Ice Minions at one time in a complete set of fully upgraded Army Camps . On the battlefield, you could clone an additional 40 Ice Minions with four fully upgraded Clone Spells (three from the regular spell inventory and one from a level 10 or higher Clan Castle). These total to a maximum of 125 Ice Minions.
  • When the Army Camp is selected, all the Ice Minions in that Camp will sneeze once, but its animation will freeze afterwards.
