  • The Giga Tesla is a defensive weapon fitted onto Town Hall 12 when the upgrade is completed.
  • The Giga Tesla deals high damage per second to multiple targets at once. It only emerges when the Town Hall is damaged, or when 51% of the base is destroyed.
  • Before the Giga Tesla emerges, the Town Hall is not treated as a defensive building in battle, and defense-targeting troops like Giants will not attack it while other defenses remain. Once the Giga Tesla is active, these troops will be able to target the Town Hall alongside the existing defenses.
  • The Giga Tesla, in addition to dealing its normal damage, has a death bomb which explodes when the Town Hall is destroyed, similar to how the Bomb Tower acts when destroyed.
  • The Giga Tesla can be extremely dangerous, especially when upgraded to target three or even four troops at a time; it can be compared to a multi-targeting Inferno Tower damage-wise, but with much greater force. You could consider using a Freeze Spell on the Giga Tesla to stop it from wreaking havoc on your troops.
  • Sometimes it is bad for the Giga Tesla to be triggered as then defense-targeting troops (e.g. Giants and Balloons ) can then attack the Town Hall. It is good to have a single-target Inferno Tower nearby to counteract this.
  • It can be useful to use a single Earthquake Spell to activate the Giga Tesla so that defense-targeting troops such as Balloons can path towards and target the Town Hall. This is often best done when these troops are close to the Town Hall so that the Giga Tesla gets less time to fire upon these troops.
  • A Healing Spell can be deployed on troops being attacked by a Giga Tesla to mitigate most (if not all) of the damage. If the Healing Tome is unlocked, it will heal the damage done to the explosion, so long as the units targeted have enough health to survive the Giga Tesla.
  • If the Healing Tome is unlocked, it will heal the damage done to the explosion, so long as the units targeted have enough health to survive the Giga Tesla.
  • Like the multi-target Inferno Tower, the Giga Tesla will not be able to use its full damage output if attacking only a single-target. This means Queen Charges attacking the Town Hall (if not protected by any other defenses) will usually be able to take it down as long as the Healers stay out of range. However, the Giga Tesla can do more damage than the Healers can heal by themselves, so a Rage Spell may be required to boost their output.
  • When going against the Giga Tesla, be prepared for its explosion if you destroy it, as it can easily wipe out many smaller troops, including Bowlers and Balloons, and also significantly hurt your larger troops and heroes . The Grand Warden 's Eternal Tome ability can be useful to prevent the explosion damage from damaging your troops. Miners will be able to burrow before the explosion occurs, so they will be safe unless they resurface too early, which makes them an amazing counter to take down the Town Hall. The explosion radius, while significant, is smaller than the range of the Giga Tesla. Long-ranged units like the Archer Queen can stay clear of the blast if they do not move towards the Town Hall before it explodes, so keep this in mind if you are sniping a Town Hall 12. If the Town Hall is isolated with a large empty space around it, as is usually the case in anti-2-star bases, it can often be useful to allow a lone Wall Wrecker or Battle Blimp (loaded with high damage Clan Castle troops, such as P.E.K.K.As , Valkyries , or Balloons) to target the Town Hall while the rest of the army can be used to clear the buildings around the sides. If you manage to take down the Town Hall with the Siege Machine, the explosion will likely only affect any Clan Castle troops you used to take it down, and you can use the Warden's ability elsewhere (against the Eagle Artillery , for example). Sufficiently-leveled Super Archers from the Battle Blimp are able to survive the blast, but they will be extremely vulnerable to the mercy of splash defenses, especially Mortars. Throwers , on the other hand, are more resistant, since they have much more hitpoints.

  • When activated, the big trap door slides out and the Tesla is now lifted by a rod, it has a golden ring around it. The Tesla is a large ball of metal with six bumps at the top with occasional electricity pulsing up and the metal ball glowing blue, which are separated at the midsection. When the Town Hall is destroyed, the metal ball falls down to the ground after which it shakes vigorously and glows bluer before it electrically explodes.

  • The level 5 Giga Tesla represents a bigger version of the level 10 Hidden Tesla .
  • The Giga Tesla could possibly be inspired by this idea .
  • Like the Clock Tower , Star Laboratory , Giga Infernos at Town Halls 13 to 16, and the Inferno Artillery , there are Roman numerals on the building that indicate its level.
  • Its triggering criteria could be inspired by the Clash Royale King's Tower : either taking damage or certain buildings are destroyed (in Clash Royale's case, a Princess Tower ).
  • If the Giga Tesla is being upgraded, it does not defend, nor would it cause the Town Hall to pull defense-targeting troops.
  • When you upgrade Town Hall from level 12 to level 13, the Giga Inferno replaces the Giga Tesla.
  • The last part of the description is a reference to Iron Man 2, as when Tony Stark puts his new element in his Arc Reactor he says "Ugh... That tastes like coconut... and metal."
  • A bug exists when a level 3 to 5 Giga Tesla attacks similar to a level 1 and 2 Giga Tesla in the short demonstration on the info screen attacking 2 targets at once, but on battle, the levels 3 to 5 Giga Tesla attack normally (see above).
  • Before the Giga Tesla's levels are removed, there are upgrade differences for each level: At level 1, when activated, the small trapdoor at the top of the Town Hall opens and a small Tesla rod pops up with occasional electricity pulsing up. The inside of the Town Hall has a bright blue glow. At level 2, the rod turns into gold and gains a gold ring around the top of it. At levels 3 and 4, the Tesla is replaced by two one-ring golden Tesla coils with a black metal base on top of the roof, above the entrance. When activated, electricity sparks and emits from them instead of being inactive. If there are three or more targets in its range, one of the Tesla attacks two targets while the other attacks one. The Roman numerals on the battery of the Town Hall change accordingly to the Giga Tesla's level.
