  • Air Bombs are a defense unlocked at Capital Hall level 3, that exclusively targets aerial enemies. It continuously launches explosive barrels, resembling the Air Bomb , a trap from the Home Village, at air troops that deal heavy damage in a small area. It is also an exact copy of its Builder Base counterpart .
  • Because of its high area damage but low range and hit speed, it is recommended to place them near Rapid Rockets as they both cover each other's weaknesses. The Air Bombs have smaller range but higher damage, while the Firecrackers have moderate damage in a large range. It is also a good counter to small air troops and can damage large, tankier air troops. It is also good at taking out Skeleton Gliders .

  • Try placing a Capital Crusher near your Air Bombs to protect them from the Skeletons spawned by the Flying Fortress , as the Crusher can stall them for a long time, giving your Air Bombs more time to take the Flying Fortress out.
  • Similar to the Air Bombs in the Builder Base, these should be adequately protected so that enemies cannot drop ground troops directly on them and then spam their Minion Horde or Super Dragons .

  • If you are attempting an air raid, these will get in your way. Use ground troops to take them out early, and then continue your air phase.
  • Do not underestimate their damage when using Super Dragons . They can take them out at a decent amount of time, especially if the dragons are under fire from other defenses like Spear Throwers . The same goes for Flying Fortresses, although they will last significantly longer due to their large health.

  • You can spread out your troops, so it can only hit one at a time. This is doubly useful with an all- Inferno Dragon attack.
  • The Flying Fortress can tank multiple hits from the Air Bombs, allowing air units with lower hitpoints to destroy other buildings.
  • Make it a priority to destroy Air Bombs to give way for your other air troops. Sneaky Archers are the best way, as their cloak can hide them from defenses. Alternatively, you can use Super Barbarians to make quick work of them.
  • Capital Air Bombs undergo significant visual changes at levels 2, 4, and 5. When initially rebuilt, the Air Bombs consist of several wooden barrels stacked inside a hole in the ground, with two blue balloons painted with white skulls attached to the topmost one. Evidently, the hole in the ground is surrounded by a base of lumbered wooden planks tied with a series of ropes. The barrels get supported from the rear by 2 plain wooden planks. At level 2, the base of planks gets replaced by a poorly built foundation of stone. The supporting rear planks get additional planks to fix them to the ground. At level 3, the stone foundation gets finely rebuilt and taller. The barrels are now painted with a red color. At level 4, the entire foundation is surrounded by thick riveted golden metal bands. At level 5, the foundation receives thick gold reinforcements at each of its corners. The barrels change from red to purple in color and the metal bands reinforcing the barrels are now replaced with gold.
